Trans fats are frequently added to commercially processed foods like cookies, crackers, tortillas and breads. These fats raise levels of unhealthy blood cholesterol and lowers the levels of beneficial blood cholesterol. Read your ingredients! Ask your bakery...you will be amazed at the amounts of commercially processed foods that have TRANS FATS!
